WATCH: Proof NFL YouTube edited Alicia Keys’ voice crack in Super Bowl halftime show with Usher

Someone really said: "Alicia finding the keys" 💀

The NFL has edited out an obvious error during Alicia Keys' performance during the 2024 Super Bowl halftime show.

Usher left us shook after his 13-minute performance, packed with surprise guest appearances.

Alicia Keys was the very first artist to join Usher on stage, stealing the show and stunning us all with her beautiful red 'fit.

While we were all mesmerised by her presence, it was hard to shift focus from her first note in her hit track 'If I Ain't Got You'.

Many fans took to X (formerly Twitter) to make note of the pitchy moment.

One user asked: "Is it me or did Alicia Keys' voice crack on the first note…?"

Another wrote: "Alicia Keys my sister…did you not take a honey and ginger shot performing singing on the world's biggest stage??? How's your voice gone crack on the FIRST NOTE!"

"Alicia couldn’t find her keys 💀," added a third.

Now, if you go to rewatch the full performance video on the NFL's YouTube channel, they've edited the cracks to sound perfectly on key.

Fans have been left confused and disappointed with the decision to clean the audio, with one writing: "Don't change history technology."

Another agreed: "So tiny human flaws will now cease to exist, and just be edited and corrected and erased? live performances aren't meant to be absolutely perfect, are they?"

Despite the rocky start, we still loved Usher and Alicia performing 'My Boo' and taking us straight back to 2000s.

Do you reckon the NFL should have let it be, or is it a harmless edit to an otherwise perfect performance?!
