Married at First Sight Australia’s Eden Harper and Jayden Eynaud have officially called it quits after fans have spent weeks speculating their relationship status.
Eden took to Instagram to share the news, explaining that the decision to split was “unexpected”.
“When I [decided] at Final Vows to be with Jayden, I really did that with long-term intentions,” she started.
“Jayden and I spent many months together after the experiment, during which Cub [her dog] gained a dad and I gained a second family whom I’m truly grateful for," she added. “I’m saddened to share that toward the end of the show airing, our relationship came to an unexpected end.”
“The ‘reality’ is, the person I chose didn’t choose me.”
Despite the disappointment, Eden said she’ll never regret her time in the experiment.
“Thank you for supporting us and for also wishing for the same fairytale that I had hoped for,” she finished.
Videos did the rounds on social media late last month showing Jayden's COOKED behaviour, including intimate moments with Lauren Dunn that Eden found “disrespectful”.
In one clip, Lauren stroked Jayden’s naked chest. In another, he cupped Lauren’s breast.
Commenting under the videos of Jayden and Lauren on TikTok, Eden wrote: “The disrespect is wiiiiild,” adding: “I left hours before as he was ignoring me.”
Another unnamed 2024 participant who was there at the time told So Dramatic!: “Lauren and Jayden were together the whole time, hanging off each other in front of Eden.”
“They were sitting down with their arms around each other while Eden was there just watching,” they recalled.
“It was so awkward and uncomfortable for everyone there.”
From one of the strongest couples of season 11 to this… YIKES!
