Apparently next week's Game of Thrones ep will be the final ever battle of the entire series

Warning: if you're not up to date with Game of Thrones, spoilers are coming.

We only have two episodes left before Game of Thrones is officially over, and we bet there are a whole lot of people out there wondering how all the loose ends will be tied up.

Apparently the next ep might be one for answers. According to the network, this weekend's instalment will feature a major battle in King's Landing.

HBO have confirmed that the episode will be 80 minutes, and that it will be directed by Miguel Sapochnik, who was responsible for the 'The Winds of Winter', 'The Battle of the Bastards', and 'The Long Night'.

While the episode does not yet have a title, people are convinced that this will be the last major battle episode of the whole series.

Based on the trailer, it appears that Cersei and Euron Greyjoy are making a stand against the remaining Stark and Targaryen armies.

Fans are speculating that Daenerys will ultimately follow in the footsteps of her father, the Mad King Aerys, and the last two episodes of the show's final season certainly seem to hint that the Mother of Dragons could turn against our heroes - including her lover and nephew - Jon Snow.

Well, all we can say is BRING ON MONDAY.
