Remember the how-to dad? Well he's getting his very own web series and we are so proud!
He has almost 1 million fans on Facebook and over 8,668,151 views on his YouTube channel, so it's pretty clear that people want to see more of him (and his adorable baby).
'How to Dad' will be one of four web series to be created by NZ ON Air and Google this year.
Both NZOA and YouTube have each put in 50% to fund the projects, which is part of a new project to encourage YouTubers with significant followings to create narrative series.
These are great new ideas from creative minds that have already proven they can engage an audience. We look forward to seeing their growth as they make and promote their web series, and hope NZ audiences, and the world, will be entertained,” said NZ On Air Chief Executive Jane Wrightson.
YouTube is the platform for New Zealand’s next generation of storytellers, and we’re thrilled to support Kiwi artists hone their craft, learn new skills and network with other successful YouTube creators overseas,” said Google New Zealand’s Ross Young.
No official release date has been announced yet, but hopefully it comes out soon!
