Kooge gives us a heartbreaking insight in to his second cancer battle

If you've ever listened to The Edge then you'll definitely have heard Kooge at one point or another. From reading the news, to on-air announcing in the weekends, to being the voice of The Edge (yeah he's the guy that says 'The Edge')...Kooge literally is 'The Edge'.

After his first battle with cancer back in 2012 (Melanoma, stage 3), Kooge has been diagnosed now with a second and completely different cancer. (Glioblastoma). After a seizure at work he was rushed to hospital and put on life support where they found after scans, a brain tumour. Kooge has since undergone brain surgery and is currently in the middle of radiation and chemotherapy treatments to fight off the cancer.

Here's an update from Kooge:

"I can't thank everyone enough for the love and support I've gotten over the past three very weird and scary months. I really appreciate it all and am truly humbled. I don't deserve this much love, I'm a very lucky guy to have so many amazing people looking out for me and backing me. To all the amazing people in my life: thank you for carrying me through this... again, i'm a super lucky guy."

If you would like to support Kooge through this very rough patch in his life, you can donate over on his givealittle page.

We you Kooge! Can't wait to have you back on The Edge soon.
