Our very own homegrown TV star KJ Apa has debuted a brand spanking new hairstyle on Instagram, and it's leaving fans understandably shooketh.
Gone are the years of tousled red hair from playing his 'Riverdale' character Archie Andrews, as KJ has buzzed it all off and returned to his natural colour.
"Reset. One fast move," KJ captioned a snap of his new 'do, complete with a flower tucked behind the ear.
The actor is almost unrecognisable without his signature Riverdale hair, and the addition of a bit of extra stubble just adds to the transformation.
"Omg, he looks so different - still gorgeous though," one fan commented on Instagram.
"I thought he was someone else!" wrote another.
"I'm actually speechless," said a third.
Not everyone was so jazzed with KJ's buzzcut, though, with some mourning the loss of his long auburn locks.
"Oh no, your beautiful long hair is gone," one Instagram comment read.
"Omg Archie is that you? You look different, it’s a good different, but why did you shave your hair? I love your orange hair," said another.
Now 25 and a father to 10-month-old son Sasha Vai Keneti, KJ has come a long way since he first started dying his hair for his big break on 'Riverdale', and it's pretty clear he's keen for a change.
Back in 2017, he admitted he was nervous about how he would look with red hair and eyebrows, and spent 8 hours in the salon getting his TV makeover.
"It was gnarly," he told Teen Vogue about the transformation.
"It was definitely really weird to see," he said. "But now I can't really remember what it was like before. I heard that only 2% of the population of the world has red hair so I'm feeling pretty good right now."
We're feeling pretty good now that we've spent some time staring at your lovely mug, KJ, so that makes two of us.
