In case you missed it, or mistakenly thought the Married At First Sight AU drama ended when the show did, Jackson Lonie and Olivia Frazer, the only 'success story' of the series, have been embroiled in a dirty cheating scandal.
Over the weekend, video emerged of Jackson having a boozy pash with a mystery woman on the dancefloor of a bar while out on the town.
That gal was very much NOT his reality TV wife Olivia, but rather a 20-year-old TikToker Han Hughes, who made videos about the kiss and even went on to do radio interviews about it.
A huge amount of chaos has ensued since then, including Olivia accusing Han of 'taking advantage' of Jackson's drunken state and then eventually releasing a statement on Instagram admitting she was "so heartbroken and so embarrassed".
The latest hectic update comes in the form of a very awkward Instagram video of Jackson and Olivia addressing the controversy head-on.
"We’re just taking a second to jump on here to address what happened last week,” Jackson begins the clip.
Jackson said he had been dealing with all the negativity that had come his way after being on MAFS by getting "black out drunk", which obviously is not a healthy way to deal with anything.
"It’s not the person I want to be. It’s not who I am," he continued. "I am seeking help to try and figure out new ways to combat my emotions and how to deal with this negativity."
Jackson finished by saying Olivia had been "nothing but an angel" throughout the ordeal.
“Aww, that’s nice…” Olivia responded, before confirming the couple were "hanging in there".
Meanwhile, Han is living her best life on TikTok, and shut down rumours that the kiss was a publicity stunt during an interview on the Kyle and Jackie O show.
However, she also added that the pair did exchange numbers at the end of the eve, so we can only imagine Liv is going through that phone with a fine-toothed comb right now.
