My Chemical Romance dropped their first single in nearly 10 years and I'm Not Okay

Someone pls pass my eyeliner.

Straighten your side fringe and tear up your tights, because My Chemical Romance is back with new music after almost 10 years off.

See mum? WE TOLD YOU IT WASN'T A PHASE.

The iconic emo rockers have just dropped  'The Foundations of Decay' - their first single since 2014's 'Fake Your Death', a bonus track added to their greatest hits album.

According to one MCR fan online, the song features "a sick breakdown, screaming and incomprehensible vocal delivery" - so, a lot of the things that made them famous in the first place.

For those of us who spent our teenage years going through eyeliner as though Maybelline was about to stop making it, this is a pretty big deal.

Check out the new song, but we must warn you, it's a full 6-minutes long.

The track has been released just as MCR is set to kick off their reunion world tour, which starts next week and sees them arrive in little old Aotearoa in March 2023.
