There's an Espresso Martini choc bar inspired by Scapegrace gin so RIP my health kick

We have chosen to conveniently forget how much choc we destroyed over Easter.

Just when we thought our love for Espresso Martinis was at its peak, Wellington Chocolate Factory has gone and made the iconic cocktail into a choccie bar.

They collaborated with the iconic Kiwi distillers at Scapegrace to create the new gin-inspired treat, using their botanicals along with coffee and the artisanal chocolate crafted at WCF.

The limited-edition Espresso Martini bar is out just in time for Mother's Day, which is great, but just we hope our mums are fully aware they will be sharing this year.

"On your first bite, you taste chocolate - which is quickly followed by the familiar hit of gin botanicals, finished off with long-lasting, satisfying coffee notes," WCF co-founder Gabe Davidson said of the bar.

It's meant to conjure up the feeling of ordering "a late-night round of espresso martinis with friends in a cosy bar tucked down a hidden laneway", and honestly, don't mind if we bloody do - especially seeing as it's minus the hangover in chocolate form.

You can get your mitts on the WCF X Scapegrace Espresso Martini Chocolate Bar online now, and we'll just be choosing to ignore how much chocolate we destroyed over Easter.
