Hailey Bieber begs trolls to 'leave her alone', but is she talking to Selena Gomez fans?

"Be miserable somewhere else."

Hailey Bieber has pleaded with online bullies to "leave her alone" in an emotional TikTok video posted just a month after she was hospitalised for a brain clot.

The model and wife of Justin Bieber shared the clip to her 8.2 million followers, but wanted to be specific about who she was speaking to: "This is for you guys in my comments every single time I post."

While she definitely doesn't mention fans of Selena Gomez, it kiiiind of seems like that's who she meant - given the way she talked about the harassment she's getting.

"Leave me alone at this point," she says in the clip.

"I’m minding my business, I don’t do anything, I don’t say anything. Leave me alone. Please.

Here's the part where it sounds like she might be addressing Selenators hating on her: "Enough time has gone by where it’s valid to leave me alone," she said, possibly referencing Selena and Justin's former relationship.

Despite the fact Selena and Justin haven't dated for YEARS and the Biebers appear to be happily married, Hailey can't escape comparisons to Selena and even gets the name of her husband's ex chanted at her at events - take this year's Met Gala, for example.

Justin has defended Hailey against the trolls before, calling out a Selenator in December 2020 who bombarded Hailey's Instagram Live video with petty comments.

"I just wanted to share this so that people get an idea of what we face on a day to day," Justin wrote on his Instagram Stories at the time.

"It is extremely hard to choose the high road when I see people like this try and rally to gather people to bully the person I love the most in this world. It is not right."

While it's clear that Hailey's message is no joke, TikTokers have not missed an opportunity to use her sound to create a new trend, setting her "leave me alone" comments to situations like "when my baby wants to nurse in the middle of the night" and "when my relatives ask if I'm dating anyone".
