Olivia Wilde was served custody papers from Jason Sudeikis while presenting live on stage

First the Oscars slap, now being served custody papers, these stage security guards need some help.

This is wild(e).

While presenting on stage at CinemaCon, Olivia Wilde was handed a mysterious looking envelope " This is for me?" she said.

Ofcourse, if you're handed something infront of a crowd of people, you're going to think it's a bit or something so important, it literally couldn't have waited 5 mins.

US director and actress Olivia Wilde holds an envelope reading "personal and confidential" as she speaks onstage during the Warner Bros. Pictures "The Big Picture" presentation during CinemaCon 2022 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, Nevada on April 26, 2022. - When Olivia Wilde was handed a mysterious envelope on stage midway through her presentation before a packed Las Vegas audience, many assumed it was the set-up for an elaborate joke.
Instead, she was getting served legal papers from her ex-partner Jason Sudeikis.
"This is for me, right?" asked Wilde, interrupted while introducing footage from her upcoming thriller "Don't Worry Darling" during Warner Bros' presentation at CinemaCon, the annual movie theater industry gathering. (Photo by VALERIE MACON / AFP) (Photo by VALERIE MACON/AFP via Getty Images)

Wilde said "I’m going to open it now because it feels like it’s a script?" but as soon as she peeped inside and quickly realised what it was, she said "Okay, got it. Thank you."

But what was in the mystery envelope? Entertainment Weekly has said that it was in fact... custody papers from her ex-fiance Jason Sudeikis.

Yeah, awkward...

To make it more awkward, Wilde was on stage presenting the first trailer for Don't Worry Darling, which stars her new boyfriend, Harry Styles.

Jason Sudikis has said he had no idea the papers would be given to her literally infront of a giant crowd. A source told Entertainment Weekly "Mr. Sudeikis had no prior knowledge of the time or place that the envelope would have been delivered."

"This would solely be up to the process service company involved and he would never condone her being served in such an inappropriate manner.”

That leads us to our next question... how the F did this courier manage to so casually get on stage?

We are reevaluating our security procedures to secure the safety of all of our attendees.” said a rep for CinemaCon.

"Right now we’re just concentrating on as an organisation what we need to do to ensure the safety of our delegates."
