Look we've all been there. You've got a party coming up, so you think hey, I'll just put on some fake tan... and from there, it just all goes down hill...
Celebrating the release of Rare Beauty in the UK, Selena Gomez sat down with Glamour to talk about Rare and all things beauty.
Creating this brand was a way to have open conversations around beauty and mental health and can change the industry by breaking down unrealistic standards of beauty together.” said Selena.
She went on to talk about the pressure to look a certain way growing up in Hollywood.
"I’ve always felt like I had to be perfect or look a certain way. It took me a long time to realise that I only wanted to be myself – that what made me unique was also what made me beautiful."
Like all of us, Selena's had some looks that didn't turn out like she'd plan. Talking about her biggest beauty disaster, she told Glamour:
"While I was getting ready for the Met Gala a few years ago, we put on a bit of tanning lotion and it looked beautiful - but as the night went on it kept getting darker and darker. When I sat down, I saw a photo of myself, and it looked completely orange. And here I am at this prestigious event - my first thought was - “I have to get out of here!”
