It sounds like Facebook is taking a leaf out of Snapchat's book..
Mark Zuckerberg has announced some major changes coming to Facebook Messenger in an attempt to increase privacy on the platform.
One of these changes includes a feature that tells someone if you've screenshotted a message that's apart of a secret conversation.
Don't worry, it doesn't sound like this will be the case for all message conversations (phew) - just disappearing messages that are part of Secret Conversations.
Zuckerberg shared the news to Facebook, with a screenshot of what the new feature will look like in action:
In addition to the screenshot notification, Zuckerberg said they're also adding GIFs, stickers, and reactions to encrypted chats too.
So next time you're having a secret conversation with someone and want to screenshot it, maybe don't..
