One of our favourite Christmas movies, 'Home Alone', is getting a re-boot!
The premise of the re-make is pretty much the exact same as the original movie - a young kid gets left at home alone while his family are overseas for a holiday, leaving the kid to fend for himself and save his home from robbers.
In the re-boot, the kid's called Max Mercer, and is played by Archie Yates (JoJo Rabbit.) Other stars in the cast include Ellie Kemper, Rob Delaney, Aisling Bea and Kenan Thompson, to name a few.
The trailer reveals that Devin Ratray, who plays Buzz McCallister in the original movies, will indeed be returning to the re-boot. Except this time, instead of being the rude older brother, he's the cop that's called to the property.
Rumour has it Macauley Culkin will be making a guest cameo in the film too!
Home Sweet Home Alone will be released on 12 November 2021 exclusively on Disney+.
