Bretman Rock has made history as the first out gay man to appear on the cover of Playboy magazine!
The 23-year-old social media star is dressed like a Playboy bunny in lingerie and killer platform heels, not to mention a fashionable collar bowtie and bunny ears, on the magazine's October digital cover.
Wearing the iconic ensemble on the cover, he follows in the footsteps of Kate Moss, Dolly Parton, and Kylie Jenner.
Speaking about the cover shoot, he said: “For Playboy to have a male on the cover is a huge deal for the LGBT community, for my brown people community and it’s all so surreal. A total ‘is this even f***ing happening right now?’ type of vibe. And I’m so pretty.”
He celebrated his groundbreaking cover appearance on Twitter in a light-hearted tweet reading: “I’m a Playboy bunny DUHHHHHH,” which went viral with over 12,000 retweets.
Rock is a Filipino-American beauty influencer who rose to fame on YouTube. In addition, he recently appeared in his own MTV reality show, MTV Following: Bretman Rock.
Following the late Hugh Heffner and musician Bad Bunny who is an ally of the LGBT+ community, Rock is the third male to feature solo on the magazine's cover
After Bretman Rock’s cover was revealed fans went wild, tweeting messages of support, with one saying: “Game changer. Opening the way for many others. Thank you.”
Another screamed through the screen saying: “BRETMAN HOW CAN YOU LOOK THE WAY YOU DO ALL THE TIME.”
And one person had the last word by saying: “Playmate of the year tbh.”
We have to agree!
