Britney’s ex-partner, singer-songwriter Justin Timberlake, has taken to Twitter to share his thoughts on Britney Spears’ battle against her conservatorship.
Following Britney's recent appearance in court regarding her long-standing conservatorship, ex-partner Justin Timberlake has taken to Twitter to share his feelings - making the matter all about himself...
Justin came out strongly in support of freeing Britney from the control she’s under, stating that “no one should ever be held against their will… or ever have to ask permission to access everything they’ve worked so hard for” in a series of posts to his Twitter account.
Justin’s outward support comes as a surprise to many Britney fans, as he recently came under fire after his questionable treatment of his ex-partner was brought to light in the recent documentary ‘Framing Britney Spears'.
The film highlighted a moment where the singer publicly bragged about having sex with Britney whilst they were together.
Justin referenced these low points in another tweet, stating “Regardless of our past, good and bad, and no matter how long ago it was… what’s happening to her is just not right.”
Fans on Twitter haven’t taken kindly to Justin’s reaction post, with loads of them calling him out on his virtue signalling towards his ex, Britney Spears.
As we reported earlier, alleged quotes from Britney’s appearance in court indicate that she wants out from under the conservatorship, adding that she had been prevented from having autonomy of her own body after an IUD was implanted against her will.
