Netflix’s Bridgerton have just revealed four new cast members!
SPOILER ALERT: They're pretty good on the eye. Guess that's just a given now...
After recieving the heartbreaking confirmation that Regé-Jean Page AKA the Duke of Hastings won’t be appearing in Season 2 - we're dieing to know about the new cast.
Show creator Shonda Rhimes has heard our cries, because she’s just released some info about the four new key cast members of Season 2, posting pics of them on the Shondaland Instagram page.
First up is Rupert Young, who will be playing Jack.
No last name yet, just… Jack.
Hmmm. Maybe they don't want us to know his last name for a reason...
“The newest member of the ton with a connection to one of its most notable families,” reads the Insta post.
There's Calam Lynch, who in our opinion could be in the line-up to be the show's next Duke of Hastings like character...
Calam will be playing Theo Sharpe, a “hardworking printer’s assistant” who is also an “intellectual who fights for the rights for all.”
Oh - and did we mention abs... 👀
Next up is Shelley Conn, who will be playing Lady Mary Sharma. Sounds like a very impressive title to have in the Bridgerton universe.
“Lady Mary’s marriage once embroiled her and her family in scandal,” reads the Insta caption.
“Now newly returned to London with her daughters, she’s forced to endure the scrutiny of the ton once again.”
Last but not least is Charithra Chandran, who is simply stunning.
Charithra will be playing Miss Edwina Sharma, a “kind-hearted and endlessly endearing” young woman who is after a “true love match.”
Well aren’t we all?
According to the cast of Bridgerton, Season 2 is due to start production real soon.
Netflix haven't dropped a release date yet, but we’ll keep you posted fam.
