Stranger Things season 4 is "set to be the best yet", according to Natalia Dyer, the actress who plays Nancy Wheeler in the hit Netflix series.
The fourth season had only been filming for a few weeks when COVID-19 hit and halted all production. This means the fourth season may not get to us for a wee while, but Dyer actually thinks this could be a "blessing for the writers" as they have had more time to "just sit down, think, and create".
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, she said:
Normally, we get the first few scripts, and then they have to keep writing due to the schedule of it. It takes a while to craft a script. So, normally, there's a kind of 'writing as we're going', but it seems they've had enough time.
When the actress was asked if the new season would have nine episodes, she responded "it appears to be".
Season one of the show had eight episodes, whereas season two had nine. Season three then also eight episodes, so it would only feel right to have nine episodes for the fourth season.
Earlier in the month, Joe Keery, who plays Steve Harrington, revealed season 4 is also going to be the scariest season yet...
...here's hoping the upcoming season lives up to its expectations!
