While we patiently wait at home for the second half of Rick and Morty's season four, co-creator Justin Roiland has a little treat for all of us... a brand new animated show!

The show, called 'Solar Opposites', follows a team of aliens who crash land on Earth and honestly this just feels like a Rick and Morty spinoff and we're so here for it.

Speaking of the new show, co-creators Justin Roiland and Mike McMahan said, "Solar Opposites is coming! We can only show you the teaser right now, but the whole season will be out in a matter of weeks!"

"Stay inside and stay healthy so you can watch and love this show and call us geniuses and all that shit" they continued.

The show is full of the same madness and humour we're all use to from Rick and Morty so we already know this is going to be a smash hit.

The first season, made up of eight episodes, will be available in the US on Hulu on May 8th so fingers crossed we don't have to wait too much longer than that here in NZ.
