Your chance to live out your drive-in cinema dream is finally here, and its the biggest in NZ. We literally CANNOT wait.
And what's even better? It'll be screening the best flick of 2019 - the award-winning Queen biopic Bohemian Rhapsody.
For the first time ever, Auckland's Mt Smart Stadium will be transformed into a huge drive-in cinema on Sunday 29th January, just nine days before Queen and Adam Lambert arrive for their stadium tour. It's also Auckland Anniversary on Monday so you don't have to worry about a late Sunday night - you get the day off the next day.
"If that wasn’t big enough, you will be watching the movie on New Zealand’s largest outdoor screen! The gigantic 212m2 crystal clear HD LED screen is the only true way to watch the multi-award winning biographic," reads the advert.
The screening is a one-night only event, and every ticket comes with popcorn and soft drinks for two people - we love us some free snacks.
Cars will be lined up towards the back of the stadium - extra points if you have a pickup truck to cuddle up in the back of. Then you just tune your car radio to the FM station given and you're good to go! And if you haven't got a car then you can go old-school and just bring bean bags and blankets along and set up camp up front.
We're pretty sure this will be a sell-out event because, well, it sounds like a dream come true. So grab your tix below and get ready to sing your little hearts out.
