We're sure we don't need to alert you to the fact that a Lizzie McGuire reboot is on its way. We haven't been able to shut up about it!
If you really have been living under a rock, basically the new series will follow Lizzie coming up to her 30th bday as she lives her seemingly perfect life in New York City.
"Lizzie has also grown up, she’s older, she’s wiser, she has a much bigger shoe budget. She has her dream job, the perfect life right now working as an apprentice to a fancy New York City decorator, the perfect man who owns a fancy restaurant. She’s getting ready to celebrate her 30th birthday," said Hilary, explaining the plot.
While we wait for the big release next year though, here are 5 of Duff's best films for you to relive:
1. A Cinderella Story
We still can't get our heads around how Austin Ames didn't recognise Sam when she was wearing a tiny little mask... but this is an all-time classic. Who doesn't love a bit of Hilary Duff-Chad Michael Murray romance!
2. Agent Cody Banks
One of the only other things we remember seeing Frankie Muniz (aka Malcolm in the Middle) in, this teen spy movie will make you cringe in all the best ways, with Duff showing a little bit more action than usual.
3. Raise Your Voice
Any movie where we get to hear Hilary belt her little heart out has a tick of approval from us. A little bit of romance and a whole lot of musical drama, what else could you ask for from a 2004 teen movie.
4. Cadet Kelly
A clumsy, clueless Duff tries to make her way through the Military Academy... you can imagine all the comedy that ensues.
5. The Lizzie McGuire Movie
This one is a no-brainer. If only to remind you of all the characters before the new series comes at us, or to belt your heart out along to Lizzie singing 'This is What Dreams Are Made Of'... you're not a Duff fan if you can't quote at least 50% of this movie off by heart.
