Brace yourself Disney fans - a sequel to the classic 1993 film 'Hocus Pocus' is getting a sequel! Disney reportedly plans to release the sequel on their new streaming service Disney+.

The film is about a small group of kids who run into an old abandoned house, which happens to be inhabitted by 3 witches - played by Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy.

The original 3 witches aren't officially signed on to the project, but Disney is reportedly hoping they can woo Bette, Sarah Jessica and Kathy, enough to get them onboard. Jen D'Angelo (from Workaholics) has signed on to script the film.

Back in 2017 the director of the original film (Danny Ortega) said he'd be open for a sequel.

"I would like to see a sequel, and I think fans would like to see a sequel. I think it would be much more fun to bring the ladies back."

"They're all still vital and in their prime and capable of doing so much that it would be great to see Bette and Kathy and Sarah come back together to do another movie and I think they would like to."

While we won't be seeing this reboot in time for Halloween this year, who knows - maybe the witches will be back for 2020!
