We can appreciate wanting to buy a house, especially one that comes at a bargain, but WHY would you ever buy something that literally inspired a horror movie.
While we couldn't think of anything worse than spending a night in the house that inspired 'The Conjuring', it didn't phase Cory Heinzen and wife Jennifer at all.
The paranormal loving couple bought the house earlier this year saying "We immediately fell in love with it. Eight-and-a-half acres, a river in the back and a pond, it’s so serene down there, never mind the story behind the house, it’s a beautiful home."
However Cory wasn't afraid (which is fitting) to admit some eerie things have already started to happen...
Speaking to the Sun Journal, he said "We had doors opening, footsteps and knocks. I’ve had a hard time staying there by myself. I don’t have the feeling of anything evil, (but) it’s very busy. You can tell there’s a lot of things going on in the house."
The couple have plans to restore the home back to it's somewhat former glory before opening it up to visitors later this year.
