A revolution is coming in the new season of Handmaid's Tale!

After what felt like the longest wait EVER, tonight we'll finally be able to see what happened after that season 2 cliffhanger.

After the trailer was released earlier this year, we got our first look at what to expect from the new season.

June appears to try and enlist former enemies Aunt Lydia (Ann Dowd) and Serena Waterford (Yvonne Strahovski) as new allies in her battle against the patriarchal society.

'Heresy, that's what you get punished for,' June narrates as the trailer opens.

'Not for being part of the resistance, because officially there is no resistance. Not for helping people escape, because officially there is no such thing as escape,'

Hatching her plan, June continues, 'If I'm going to change things, I'm going to need allies: Allies with power,' as Aunt Lydia and Serena appear.

But now we can stop over-analysing the trailer as the show is finally here.

Following suit of the previous two seasons, we will get three episodes at once when it drops tonight on Lightbox at 8pm.

From new week, the rest of the season will be released one ep at a time, once a week.
