If you're struggling to get your head around this morning's musical drama, don't worry, so are we...

Over the weekend, Taylor Swift found out that her entire music catalog had been sold to a company owned by Scooter Braun, the manager for Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande, and more.

In response, Taylor opened up about how she's been bullied by Braun for years and how upset this news has made her.

I learned about Scooter Braun’s purchase of my masters as it was announced to the world. All I could think about was the incessant, manipulative bullying I’ve received at his hands for years. " she wrote on Tumblr. "Like when Kim Kardashian orchestrated an illegally recorded snippet of a phone call to be leaked and then Scooter got his two clients together to bully me online about it."

Taylor went on to share a post from Justin Bieber back in 2016. The post showed Justin facetiming Kanye West, Scooter Braun, alongside the caption "Taylor swift what up".

And while Scooter Braun is yet to comment, Justin Bieber has both jumped to his defence on Instagram while also apologising to Taylor Swift.

"First of all i would like to apologize for posting that hurtful instagram post, at the time i thought it was funny but looking back it was distasteful and insensitive."

In defence to her comments about Scooter, Justin wrote "Scooter has had your back since the days you graciously let me open up for you".

"For you to take it to social media and get people to hate on scooter isn’t fair. What were you trying to accomplish by posting that blog? seems to me like it was to get sympathy u also knew that in posting that your fans would go and bully scooter. Anyway, One thing i know is both scooter and i love you" he continued.

"I’m sure Scooter and i would love to talk to you and resolve any conflict, pain or or any feelings that need to be addressed. Neither scooter or i have anything negative to say about you we truly want the best for you."
