Netflix's hit horror series Haunting of Hill House will be returning to scare us all shitless once again. Great.
Although, it might be a little different than you think. Rather than giving us a sequel, series creator Mike Flanagan and executive producer Trevor Macy will be going for an anthology, which means the next instalment will focus on a completely new story and a new batch of characters.
How terrifying are just the noises in this video? Omg.
The first series of The Haunting of Hill House, based on Shirley Jackson's 1959 novel, was released back in October, and received rave reviews.
But then hints of an anthology started doing the rounds, with Carla Gugino (who plays Olivia Crain) telling the Hollywood Reporter: "Mike Flanagan said he would be interested in the notion of an anthology, where some actors come back to play different characters.
"I think he feels like he has told the complete story of the Crain family. But if I was invited and I was able to, I would really love to, just because I do love to collaborate with him."
