Everything you need to know for Electric Avenue

Christchurch’s biggest day out is almost here! Electric Avenue hits Hagley park this Saturday so here is some of the key information for the day!

Gates open:
11.00am and close at 10.00pm

This excludes USCA combo Pass tickets. If you have one of these you must collect your ticket from the foundry and use the buses provided. Buses will be available from 11:30am till 1:00pm every half hour.  

Strictly R18 below are the accepted forms:

  • New Zealand Photo Driver’s License

  • HNZ 18PLUS Card

  • New Zealand or Overseas Passport

Dress for the Weather: While the weather isn’t looking the best, maybe head out to grab yourself a poncho just incase. Hopefully the weather holds out but if it doesn’t the event will still go ahead.

Cashless Event: The event is fully AWOP just like all the other summer event you go to, you collect your wristband at the entry and can top it up inside of the event. If you have money left on it at the end of the day refunds are available until a month after the event here.

Food and Drink: Food and drink can’t be brought into the festival. There a huge range of options available such as Hells Pizza, Bacon Brothers Pita Pit, Tommy Taco and more!

Set times: Got your planned sorted on where you want to be?

Tickets: While we can scan tickets on your mobile phone or tablet, paper tickets are much quicker and will reduce your time in the queues!

Arriving to the festival via a car the closest drop off point will be on Rolleston Ave right beside the event. If your catching a lime, drop them off in the zones that are shown via the map on the app.

Roads: While the roads around the event will remain open, do expect delays around the festival.

Alcohol Ban: There is a full alcohol band around the event, don’t risk getting yourself a fine.
