Ariana Grande made an alternative version 'Thank U, Next' in case she got back with Pete Davidson

Considering all of the records it's broken, Ariana Grande's song 'Thank U, Next' is pretty much as big as she is.

In the song, Ari talks about all of her exes but we're only just now finding out there was actually different versions of the song made.

In a recent interview, Ariana shared that she 3 versions of the song made, with two of them based on her relationship with Pete Davidson.

"There's a version where I was getting married, there's a version where I'm not getting married."

Ariana continued by saying at the time of recording, she wasn't sure if was going to end up back with Pete so she recorded an alternative version just to be safe. 

"In my relationship at the time things were like up and down and on and off," she said, "and so I didn't know what was going to happen and then we got back together, so I had to make a different version of it, and then we broke up again, so we ended up going with that verse."
