A plane, reportedly containing Post Malone, blew two tires after taking off from a New Jersey airport and is being forced to make an emergency landing in New York.
Jim Peters, a spokesperson with the Federal Aviation Administration, told Variety in a statement that a Gulfstream Aerospace GLF-4 aircraft blew two tires as it took off from the runway at the Teterboro Airport.
The aircraft was carrying 16 passengers, and was originally heading to the London Luton Airport in Luton, England.
TMZ reported that Malone was on the plane, after performing at the MTV Music Awards last night. The plane was reportedly rerouted in order to burn fuel on the aircraft so it could make a safer emergency landing.
Post Malone's crew took to Instagram before the plane took off, confirming that London was where they were heading. A snap was also shared on Post Malone walking towards the plane, which later had to make the emergency landing.
