NZ's fave hospital drama, Shortland Street, is going to be on air six nights a week!
South Pacific Pictures revealed that the long-running soap - usually airing on TVNZ 2 from Monday to Friday nights - would add Sunday night to their drama lineup.
"This year, things are going to be a little different with the Shortland Street 'Winter Season'. We are excited to announce that Shortland Street will be coming to Sundays," a South Pacific Pictures spokeswoman said in a statement.
This will kick in from September.
For the past decade, Shortland Street has extended Monday night episodes to an hour during winter, which will not return in 2018.
