The Nine-Nine is back baby!

This week the world was sent into meltdown because of the news that, after 5 seasons AND winning a Emmy, Brooklyn Nine Nine had been cancelled by FOX.

But incase you're sitting there struggling to come to terms with there being no more Jake Perolta, We've got some good news because it's not over after all!

NBC, the hero we didn't know we needed, has given Brooklyn Nine Nine's team their badges back for  a brand new sixth season full of 13 episodes.

In a statement, the chairman of NBC Entertainment, Robert Greenblatt said:

Ever since we sold this show to Fox I’ve regretted letting it get away, and it’s high time it came back to its rightful home

Mike Schur, Dan Goor, and Andy Samberg grew up on NBC and we’re all thrilled that one of the smartest, funniest, and best cast comedies in a long time will take its place in our comedy line-up. I speak for everyone at NBC, here’s to the Nine-Nine!

What an emotional roller-coaster ride that was.
