Netflix's 'The Sinner' is officially coming back for a second season

"Yeah, sorry boss, I've had a sudden spell of 'there's a whole new season of the best freaking show on Netflix so I'd rather stay at home and binge watch the whole thing' so I won't be coming in, soz."

The Sinner has been renewed for a second season, and we also have a plot for the upcoming series, according to SpoilerTV.

In the wake of the Cora Tannetti case, Detective Harry Ambrose (Bill Pullman) is called back to his hometown in distant rural New York to assess a disturbing new crime: an 11-year-old boy's horrific double-homicide & his seemingly inexplicable motive.

"As Ambrose comes to realise there's nothing ordinary about the boy or where he came from, his investigation leads him straight into the hidden darkness of his hometown and pitting him against those who'll stop at nothing to protect its secrets."

Sounds like this is going to be a Jessica Biel-less season though which we're kinda gutted about, but it seems that she is still involved in the show as a producer.
