To anyone who says that the Kardashian's and Jenner's don't rule the world, then you need to read this...
As if Snapchat's year wasn't already off to a bad start, now their stock value has fallen 7.2% and wiped US$1.3 billion (NZ$1.8 billion) after a single tweet from Kylie Jenner.
Last month Snapchat redesigned their app and let's just say, people were not happy about it. There were complaints & petitions to change it back but Snapcat's CEO says:
We’re excited about what we’re seeing so far, The best part is that even some of the complaints we’re seeing reinforce the philosophy (behind the design).
Going by the response it's not suprising less people have been using the app, including Kylie Jenner.
Kylie's always been active on Snap but whether it's because of the new design (or because she's got lil'Stormi in her life) Kylie tweeted ' Does anyone else not use Snapchat anymore?'
Over 272,000 people liked the tweet and, as if we needed more proof that the Kar-Jenner family ruled the world, Snapchat's stock fell a huge 7% after the tweet went out.
Maybe the tweet will make Snap finally change things back!
