Amanda Bynes has been pictured for the first time in months, enjoying an afternoon with her life coach Joy Stevens.
With her long blonde hair, over-sized plastic glasses and simple jeans, a t-shirt and cardigan, she looks very different to the Amanda we've been seeing over the last few years.
A few years ago, she was hospitalised after being placed under an involuntary psychiatric hold. She spent a total of two months at the UCLA Medical Centre in California, where she was allegedly being treated for schizophrenia and bipolar disorder, after she set fire to a driveway and accidentally her Pomeranian dog, threw a bong off a roof and underwent surgery for cheek implants.
The 31-year-old has been sober for three years and is studying fashion at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising. She looked relaxed but glum as she shopped in Los Angeles.
These pictures come after she gave her first interview in years, which revealed she did plan on returning to acting at some point.
She also revealed she has embraced a clean way of living which includes spinning classes and hiking.
