Pink's daughter 'unimpressed' by her viral self-acceptance VMA speech

It's been two weeks since Ellen DeGeneres presented Pink with the Vanguard Award at the MTV Video Music Awards and they have reunited for another chat on Ellen's show.

During the awards show, Pink inspired the audience with a speech aimed at her six-year-old daughter, Willow, about not conforming to society’s beauty standards.

Willow, however, was "incredibly unimpressed" by the whole thing, P!nk told the talk show host.

"I was like, 'Babe, are you excited about today? I’m going to win an award and I’m going to do a show,'" the singer recalled. "And she goes, 'Exactly how many minutes after you sing does my sleepover start?'”

Pink reiterated the story in her interview with DeGeneres, explaining that Willow rendered her speechless when she said, "I'm the ugliest girl I know." The singer said that she cried after the conversation, and ultimately, encouraged her daughter to love herself for who she is.
