Dumbo is scary now thanks to Tim Burton...

The first look at Tim Burton's remake of Disney's 1941 film 'Dumbo' is finally here, and it will actually give you nightmares.

We got our very first glimpse at what Dumbo will look like in the new live-action remake... and it's safe to say it's not what we were expecting. AT ALL.

A life-size, sculpted flying elephant model was wheeled out for this year's D23 Expo over the weekend, and people were literally shocked.

LOOK AT IT. IT IS ACTUALLY TERRYIFYING.

After a photo of the model surfaced online, Dumbo fans took to Twitter to express how unimpressed they are with the "new look".

The cast for the Dumbo remake was also confirmed at the Expo, and will feature Danny DeVito, Colin Farrell, Eva Green and Michael Keaton.

Tim Burton's new live-action remake of 'Dumbo' is currently being filmed, and will be released in cinemas on March 29, 2019.

All we can say is... welcome to your next nightmare. Dumbo is not a cute little baby elephant anymore!
