Not gonna lie, we've got a lil'tear in our eye after hearing the truely heartbreaking news that Apple has killed off its iPod Nano and Shuffle.
"Today, we are simplifying our iPod lineup with two models of iPod Touch now with double the capacity starting… and we are discontinuing the iPod shuffle and iPod nano," Apple said in a statement.
Both devices were introduced in 2005 and It's been five years since the cheaper iPod options were significantly updated
this means that the iPod touch is now the only remaining iPod so apple...pls don't take this away too.
The iPod classic - the one with that legit clickwheel and up to 160GB of storage - was discontinued in 2014.
It comes days after Microsoft announced it would be phasing out its classic MS Paint software. Adobe on Thursday (NZ time) said it would end support for its much-derided Flash software in 2020.
