Study claims picking your nose and eating it is good for you

This is quite possibly the most disturbing study we've seen...

According to a new study, picking your nose and eating it is actually good for you!

The reason behind this is that our "bogies" actually contain a variety of health benefits, including salivary mucines which form a barrier against cavity-causing bacteria.

There's evidence to suggest that these salivary macines defend againsts respiratory infection, stomach ulcers and HIV.

Wanna know something even more disturbing? Health scientists are researching into ways of creating "synthetic mucus" that can be made into chewing gum or toothpaste.

Austrian lung specialist Prof Friedrich Bischinger says those who pick their nose and eat it also generally happier than others.

“Eating the dry remains of what you pull out is a great way of strengthening the body’s immune system. Medically it makes great sense and is a perfectly natural thing to do,” he said.

“In terms of the immune system, the nose is a filter in which a great deal of bacteria are collected, and when this mixture arrives in the intestines it works just like a medicine.”

This is seriously disturbing.
