"It's a brand new start... a dream come true... in Malibu..."
Miley Cyrus is better known for dominating headlines for all the wrong reasons, but now she's embracing change and is set to release a new album next week.
The twerking singer told Billboard in a recent interview that she's happy in love, quit the drugs and making the music she wants to make.
On the cover of this weeks issue of Billboard, where Miley features in a field wearing a pink dress, she speaks about how she "needed to change so much" to be the person she wanted to be.
Her relationship with Hunger Games hunk Liam Hemsworth is thriving thanks to her new look on life, which will apparently be represented in her new song "Malibu," due out next Friday.
The song is dedicated to her relationship with Liam, and in the interview she explains why she felt she needed to release the song.
They’re going to talk about me if I come out of a restaurant with Liam. So why not put the power back in my relationship and say, ‘This is how I feel?’
She continued, "'cause I needed to change so much. And changing with someone else not changing like that is too hard… Suddenly you’re like, ‘I don’t recognize you anymore.’ We had to re-fall for each other.
The full lyrics will be released along with the song next week, but Miley let out a small tease for us all to check:
I never would’ve believed you
If three years ago you told me
I’d be here writing this song
It’s a brand new start
A dream come true
We can't wait to hear the new and improved Miley on her new song 'Malibu,' this time NEXT WEEK!!!
