So whip out Adele's latest album and cry your heart out because we promise, you will feel one hundred times better!
A recent study by Scientific Reports claims that, "getting out a good cry while listening to sad tunes will ultimately trigger feelings of pleasure" and you will in turn feel less stressed and upset after the song.
Reasearchers in this study tested their theory by asking participants to reveal their feelings while listening to various songs.
They reported if they got goose bumps, shivers and/or just felt like crying in general.
