According to science, getting LESS than 6 hours sleep is gravely dangerous to your health.
Turns out getting less than 6 hours sleep a night will raise your chances of an early DEATH by more than 12 percent!
"Lack of sleep is a growing problem," says Lisa Artis of the British Sleep Council.
"Firstly people don't place enough importance on sleep and the health benefits being well-rested can have... and secondly, unlike a lot of well understood life changes such as eating five portions of fruit and vegetables a day, sleep isn't really on the agenda."
Having the odd 6 hour sleep is OKAY, it's the continuous lack of sleep that increases stress levels which in turn intensifies your heart rate and blood pressure.
