I don't know how but somehow Dan will tell the most embarrassing story and then top it the very next week.
For today's tale, Dan told us about how he sold his old mattress on TradeMe over the weekend.
But when it came to moving it towards the front door for pickup, he noticed there was a massive brown stain on the bottom of the mattress (apparently from a spilled coffee at some point in the past...)
Instead of giving the buyer a heads up as she was on her way over, Dan thought the better option was to just play dumb and pretend that he was instead a flatmate, not Dan the seller, who couldn't possibly have any idea about the condition the mattress was promised to be in.
As Dan (pretending to not be himself) handed over the mattress, the buyer noticed the stain and instantly said she was going to call Dan, and thus the cringe yet hilarious story begins.
