It's a question we ask ourselves everyday....should I shower at night or in the morning?
If you ask yourself the same question too, luckily for us, Science has stepped in to help give us an answer. While showering in the morning and at night both have their positives, showering at night is apparently overall the better option.

News.com.au spoke with three professionals to explain why showering at night is the best option. Mona Gohara, associate clinical professor of dermatology at the Yale School of Medicine, said obviously the big advantage of showering at night is it helps remove all your nasty dirt, sweat, makeup etc that's built up throughout the day. However another expert, Nancy Rothstein, said:
A night-time shower is an integral part of your ‘preparing for bed’ routine. It’s time for you — no phone, no emails, just the luxury of fresh, warm water flowing over your body. Call it an opportunity to shower yourself with mindfulness!
But while these experts say night showers are best for you, lets not take away from how good a morning shower can be too. Mona Gohara also told News:
A morning shower allows for time to meditate and regroup before starting a long or hectic day.
This mindfulness can decrease inflammation in the skin by keeping levels of a hormone called cortisol capped.
