Actress Zooey Deschanel has assured fans she's doing fine following her recent split from rocker husband Ben Gibbard.

The quirky (500) Days of Summer beauty split from Death Cab for Cutie singer Gibbard last month (Nov11) after just two years of marriage, but Deschanel insists the former couple is still on good terms.

She tells People magazine, "We're friendly. It's all fine."

The star admits she's been surrounding herself with family as she re-adjusts to life as a single girl and she is enjoying spending every spare moment with her big sister, actress Emily Deschanel, and her newborn nephew Henry.

She says, "I'm a little clueless around babies. But I'm obsessed with my nephew. He's so cute."
