WHITNEY HOUSTON recorded will feature in her new film
SPARKLE.
She will sing

Sparks, will play over the remake's closing credits.

multiple reports, the duet Celebrate was written by R. Kelly.
Sparkle is in
post-production and on schedule, according to Sony Pictures executives. It is
scheduled to hit cinemas this summer.
The movie, a

- it is her first film since The Preacher's Wife in 1996.
Houston had been working
on the project for over a decade and initially wanted tragic Aaliyah to play
her daughter in the film. The soul singer died in a plane crash in 2001.
