Victoria Beckham spent 11 hours squirming in a figure-hugging designer dress onboard a plane - because designer-turned-filmmaker Tom Ford insisted she remained glamorous during the transatlantic flight.
The fashion-conscious singer arrived at an airport in an eye-catching outfit but couldn't wait to put on a pair of old pyjamas as soon as the plane took off.
But when she warned fellow passenger Ford she planned to change into her comfortable garments for the journey, he implored her to stay sexy instead.
She tells Britain's OK! magazine, "When I get on a plane the first thing I do is put on old pyjamas. But the other day I was on a flight sitting next to Tom Ford.
"I told him that I was going to take all my glam gear off and he said, 'You shouldn't.' I thought he was joking and was getting ready to change when he said, 'No, you really shouldn't.' I was so intimidated I had to sit on this 11-hour flight in tight, uncomfortable clothes."
