On Saturday 23rd October, The Department Store will open The Men’s Department and launch Topman into New Zealand.
Occupying one third of the ground floor retail space, The Men’s Department will dress the discerning man from head to toe, featuring apparel, footwear, underwear, bags, hats, fragrances, eyewear, watches, and jewellery.
Topman will lead a bevy of international brands that will be curated by local stylist Atip Wananuruks. Atip will work closely with Karen Walker and her team to buy and merchandise the Topman product alongside a selection of hand-picked labels from around the world. In addition to the core Topman line The Men’s Department will also feature other Topman lines: Topman LTD and Topman Design.
The Topman range includes a sensational selection of easy casuals and must have basics with their famous suiting arriving in early November.
Topman will receive new deliveries in line with when they hit the stores in the U.K. New styles will arrive in store every two weeks.
Other new labels to The Men’s Department will include Rittenhouse apparel, Bell & Ross watches, Happy Socks, Pointer shoes, Bedouin bags, Gorrin hats, St James tees and more.
Dan Gosling and Bryan Eible’s Black Box will share the space with some of the best men’s brands in New Zealand and Australia such as ksubi, Stolen Girlfriends Club, Vanishing Elephant, Bassike and accessories like Moscot sunglasses and AIAIAI headphones. Black Box will also stock the best footwear from Nike Sportswear.
Simon James Design’s male-focussed brands such as Portland General Store and Areaware will also be included in The Men’s Department.
The Men’s Department opens at 9am, Saturday 23rd October.
