Before Tom Cruise was with Katie Holmes he apparently held an audition for potential wives that was organised by Scientology.
The top-secret audition process was held in 2004, and Tom was presented with potential wives who were already Scientology members.
According to Vanity Fair magazine, Nazanin Boniadi, an Iranian-born, London-raised actress and Scientologist, was chosen and dated Tom from November 2004 until January 2005.
The audition process went for a month in October 2004 and included revealing her "innermost secrets and every detail of her sex life" in daily sessions with a high-ranking Scientology official. She also had to sign confidentiality agreements before being introduced to Tom.
Apparently tom dumped Nazanin after she "disrespected" a fast-speaking Miscavige by saying "excuse me?" when she had problems understanding him.
She was then told by Scientology officials that her relationship was over and she had to move into Scientology's Celebrity Centre and that she was not to bother Tom anymore.
While in the centre she confided in a friend, although she had been sworn to secrecy, and the friend dobbed her in to officials, who then punished her by making her scrub toilets with a toothbrush, clean bathroom tiles with acid, and dig ditches in the middle of the night!
Scientology reps of course dispute the Vanity Fair article, saying there was no such project and that they don’t punish followers.
