Six60 and Kimbra dominated at the 2012 Vodafone New Zealand Music Awards last night.
Six60 won six Tuis for Vodafone Single of the Year, Highest Selling NZ Single and Radio Airplay of the Year for ‘Don’t Forget Your Roots’ and FOUR Best Group. Their debut album “Six60” is also the nation’s Highest Selling for the year and Six60 won Vodafone People’s Choice Award.
Kimbra won five Tuis. Album of the Year “Vows”, Best Female Solo Artist, Breakthrough Artist of the Year, The Edge Best Pop Album and International Achievement for “Vows”. 

Other winners on the night are: 

Best Rock Album – The Checks, “Deadly Summer Sway”
Best Alternative Album – Opossom, “Electric Hawaii”
Best Urban Hip Hop Album – Home Brew, “Home Brew”
Best Roots Album – The Black Seeds, “Dust and Dirt”
Best Electronica Album – Concord Dawn, “Air Chrysalis”
Best Māori Album – Ria Hall, “Ria Hall”
Best Gospel / Christian Album – Parachute Band, “Matins:Vespers”
Best Classical Album – Christopher Blake, “Angel at Ahipara”
NZ On Air Best Music Video – Special Problems, “The Sun” (The Naked and Famous)
International Achievement Awards – Kimbra and The Naked and Famous
