The stars of TV hit Jersey Shore are to host a telethon to aid the relief effort in New Jersey in the wake of Hurricane Sandy.
Parts of Seaside Heights, where the cast filmed the reality TV show, were washed away by last week's superstorm - and the stars are regrouping after filming their final season to raise money on behalf of the non-profit organisation Architecture for Humanity.
MTV will air the fundraising special, Restore the Shore, on Thursday in the US.
